In 1893, the
Poland Spring House comprised about 300 guest rooms on the four upper stories. On
the main story were the dining room, kitchens, offices, parlors, music room, and
entertainment room. A separate wing housed the laundry and help's quarters. |

Located accross the court behind the main
hotel, the Annex (or Casino) housed a bowling alley, billiard room, pool room, barber
shop, gymnasium, gentlemen's club room, and 23 small guest rooms. The Annex was
accessible via a covered walkway. |
